Camp Caritas is a religious enrichment summer camp for students who are
preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. One is held at Shanahan
High school one is held at Bonner/Prendie High School.
It will run for one week, usually in June, and will cover the Confirmation
framework. This is in place of the St. Thomas sessions. Shanahan teachers and peer ministers will staff the program. (Note: this was cancelled for 2020 due to COVID but we hope it will return in 2021!)

St. Thomas:
Option 1: Classes will be held the first /second Sunday
of each month at 6:00pm - 7:30 pm. Class will be held in the Social Hall. The class will consist of
fellowship, lesson, discussions, & Spirit & Corporal Mercy
Actions. These lessons are fast paced and students are responsible to complete work at home before coming to class. Work will be sent home through our Google Classroom format and should be completed before each monthly class session.
Option 2: Classes will be held weekly on Tuesday evenings and run during our Traditional PREP time. Lessons and activities from the monthly lessons will be presented but spread out, allowing a slower pace of learning and will allow for less work to be completed at home. (Note: Due to COVID, this option will not be available during the 2020-21 year. Any families who registered for this option will be contacted.
